Anti-Human Trafficking, Anti-Sex Trafficking, and Anti-Prostitution Policy
Last updated: March 11, 2026
Purpose & Scope
Kalon is an adults-only, online platform for lawful, consensual digital content. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for human trafficking, sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), and prostitution/solicitation. This policy applies to all Users (Sellers and Buyers), all Content, profiles, and listings on or through Kalon.
Definitions
- Human trafficking / Sex trafficking: Recruiting, harboring, transporting, providing, patronizing, or soliciting a person for labor or a commercial sex act through force, fraud, or coercion, or any commercial sex act involving a minor (under 18).
- Prostitution / Solicitation: Buying, selling, advertising, arranging, or facilitating in-person sexual services or meetings for sexual acts, whether or not money changes hands.
- Commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC): Any sexual activity involving a minor in exchange for value, including CSAM.
These summaries reflect global standards (e.g., TVPA/Palermo). Where local law is stricter, that law controls.
Zero-Tolerance—What Is Prohibited
You must not use Kalon to post or enable any of the following:
Trafficking and Exploitation Content
- Content that promotes, depicts, normalizes, instructs, or facilitates human trafficking, sex trafficking, or sexual exploitation (including grooming, recruitment, "sugar" arrangements used as fronts, debt bondage, sextortion, blackmail, doxxing, or coercion).
Prostitution / In-Person Services
- Content that advertises, solicits, arranges, or facilitates in-person sexual services (escorting, "full service," "meetups," coded terms) or links off-platform to do so—regardless of jurisdiction.
- Sharing contact/location info, rates, or booking instructions for in-person sexual services.
Minors & Non-Consensual Content
- Any depiction of a minor (actual or simulated, or persons who appear to be minors), CSAM, or content lacking verifiable consent.
- Deepfakes or manipulated media involving real persons without express permission.
Financial Facilitation
- Using payment flows to pay for, promote, or launder proceeds of trafficking, prostitution, or sexual exploitation.
Platform Boundaries—No In-Person Sexual Services
Kalon is an adults-only platform primarily for lawful digital content and online interactions.
Using Kalon to arrange or facilitate real-world sexual services or in-person sexual acts is strictly prohibited. Sellers must not imply, suggest, or exchange contact details for the purpose of arranging in-person sexual activity.
Age, Identity, and Consent Safeguards
- Age verification: Buyers and Sellers are subject to age-assurance/verification measures (see Age Verification Policy).
- Seller verification: Sellers must complete ID checks; where permitted, biometric match checks may be used.
- Consent and records: Sellers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining legally required consent and age records for any person depicted and for complying with applicable recordkeeping laws (e.g., 18 U.S.C. § 2257/2257A, where applicable).

What We Do—Enforcement & Remedies
Where we suspect or confirm violations of this policy, we may:
- Remove or disable Content; suspend or terminate accounts; block IP addresses; and freeze, withhold, offset, or forfeit Seller Earnings linked to violations.
- Preserve and report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and refer suspected trafficking or exploitation to law enforcement.
- Restrict features (including posting) and require re-verification.
- Provide information responsive to valid legal process and cooperate with authorities.
Remedies are in addition to any contractual or legal rights in our Terms of Service (see Monitoring and Enforcement, Refunds, and Seller Payouts).
Detection & Risk Controls
To prevent harm and meet legal obligations, we use a combination of:
- Proactive and reactive moderation, including user reports, keyword and coded-term detection, and specialist review.
- Hash-matching and industry databases to detect known illegal content (where lawful).
- Know-your-customer (KYC), know-your-business (KYB), anti-money laundering (AML), and sanctions screening for payouts and high-risk activity.
- Rate limits and anti-evasion measures to deter ban evasion.
We continuously improve these controls and may adjust them without notice to protect Users and comply with applicable law.
Non-Retaliation
Users who report suspected trafficking or exploitation in good faith are protected from retaliation on Kalon. False or bad-faith reports may result in enforcement action.
Education & Partnerships
We may provide safety resources within Kalon and may work with qualified organizations and authorities to improve identification, reporting, and survivor support.
Updates
We may update this policy as laws and best practices evolve. The "last updated" date reflects the current version. Significant changes will be communicated through Kalon or by email.
